Title: The Romanian National Minority's Religious Right Issues in Transylvania at the End of the 17th Century (1697-1704)

Abstract: The article examines the legal and political circumstances surrounding the union of the Transylvanian Romanian Orthodox Church with the Roman Catholic Church between 1697 and 1704. It shows how the union transformed the Romanian clergy’s religious privileges, social position, and status within the Habsburg constitutional order.
