Title: Supportive and Obstructive Judiciary Institutions of the Labour Law Regarding Work-Family Balance

Abstract: The article examines Hungarian labour-law and social-security measures affecting the reconciliation of employment and family responsibilities. It argues that maternity protection and childcare benefits may reinforce gender stereotypes unless parental leave and care responsibilities are distributed more equally between women and men.
